5 star assassin evaluation (Jack, Cleopatra, King Hassan)

I asked a similar question a while ago. Well, things have changed slightly since then, and Cleopatra now has a np buff that increases her damage to 400% and inflicts buff block 1 time, 3 turns on all enemies. Thoughts?

By virtue of being 5-stars, they're all really good.

Jack is probably the best of these three. High stargen and hit count makes her the best crit star generator, even in JP. Very powerful noble phantasm that does bonus damage to female enemies.

King Hassan is a very powerful servant, quite possibly the best DPS assassin. He's what is known as a 'buster gorrila', having three buster cards and a buster NP. He had godly buffs and a 5% chance to instant kill an enemy on a normal attack (which pretty much doesn't work on servants), but he's a very powerful, buster oriented assassin

Cleopatra is also buster-oriented, but has a QQABB deck as opposed to Hassan's QABBB deck. Has a lot of HP recovery with Imperial Privilege and Golden Body. Add to that, an AoE buster NP that deals 1000 damage to herself. Cleo is a very inconsistent servant with her kit, lacking Jack's ability to generate stars and lacking King Hassan's ability to deal damage. Arguably the worst of the three, but she's still a 5-star and therefore is still very strong.

Cleo is a jack of all trades, stargen survivability and decent damage with imperial privilege up. You can throw her in any team. If you're comparing to the two best (broken) assassin's ofc she looks subpar. Imo she's better in longer sustained fights and partners very well with ozy.

Agreed. I don't mean to disparage Cleo at all, but it's hard to measure up to the sheer power that Jack and Gramps bring.

Cleo just had a buff block and damage buff added to her NP though. I agree with your evaluations of the 3 5* assassins, but is this with Cleo pre-buff or post-buff?

I was not keeping her upgrades in mind for my evaluation, I'll admit, so this evaluation is pre-buff. While certainly useful, I don't think it changes her overall playstyle and keeps her in the role of a farmer and still ranks her as third compared to the other two assassins.

I'll add a little bit about Cleo

Cleo is a Durable assassin and technically she is the Strongest AOE assassin yet.
Farmer assassin is rare, the decent one is Fuuma and Violet Bikini Ninja ( she is event limited ).
We forget Opera existence, seriously 🤔.
Her post-buff make her even tougher, especially that buff block ( seasoned player know how it works ). It's pretty tricky, best used against enemy or boss with annoying gimmick.

She is tough and hard to kill, good for clearing event content, daily farm and can be used as Boss killer.
As for her playstyle is like a Buster servant with Art stall durability. Maybe people don't like servant with a durable kit like her and prefer 1 turn or OHKO style. As she's unique on her own.

Do you have ST and AOE assassin maxed already? If yes then rolling for these 3 is for collection.
Cleopatra is your favorite ? If yes, it's a win-win situation for you.
King Hassan is your favorite ? If yes, it's a win-win situation for you.
Jack is your favorite ? If yes, it's a win-win situation for you.
This trio is very strong already, anyone you choose will be your long term investment.

That's my thought. You can choose whatever you like, Favorite servant or gameplay it's up to you.

My Carmilla is Lv 80 NP2 and Scathach Assassin is unleveled. I'm leaning more towards sustained damage rather than one and done servants thanks to break bars. Cleo fits the sustain damage role as she can spam her np but King Hassan is so tempting...

Going by all the above inputs, if I already have Jack, Shuten, Camilla and emiya assassin all max-leveled, then basically I am already well covered in assassin class and Cleo is redundant from a gameplay perspective right?

Just depends who you want to use, but no you aren't lacking in the assassin department.

Essentially if you have cu alter & raikou, every other class could be redundant, b/c from a gameplay persepective you don't need anyone else.

But seriously just roll for who you want, i've got Waver & every 5* in tier 2 except Gilgamesh, but i'd still roll for Cleo, because more units are nice to have. From a gameplay standpoint I could have stopped rolling ages ago, but then what's the point of playing this game if not for collecting more servants?

I do have Raikou so no, I'm not lacking in the farming department. Very persuasive point though, indeed, a large part of this game is collecting servants. But support is king in this game and being blessed with Tamamo and Waver, I suppose the best thing to do would be to go all out for Merlin. I would then have the luxury to pick and choose whoever else I wanted since I would have the foundation necessary for any team. Thanks for the great input!
