For buster-oriented teams, I'd say either Summer Nero or Ereshikigal. They're pretty good buster servants.

You can use the 4* free servant ticket of september to get Lartoria Alter, who is story locked and a very powerful buster crit...Rama is a Saber buster crit and avaiable in the ticket ass well.

On the new Summer, Lancer Raikou is basically Lancer Alter, but ST and with a little more party support.

Zerc Nobu can gather stars to herself, being a critzerker, like Raikou and Zerkalot.

Vanilla Raikou, the best AOE zerc, and alto a critzerker, will have 2 rate ups, Onigashima and Shimosa, with around 4 or 5 months between them.

Shimosa will have a buster archer with star gathering skill.

Don't let the rating deter you, the reason he is placed so low is essentially remedied with Merlin, as it is with most buster gorillas. If you like buster meming with Merlin, Gilgamesh probably is the best to go for this year since he essentially defines buster-crit DPS which is the perfect thing to team with Merlin.

Other good servants w/Merlin to watch out for: Brynhildr, Raikou (Berserker and Lancer), caster Nero, and Cu Alter
