Overview
- We face off against Prisma Illya’s magical girl trio: Illya, Chloe and Miyu. The latter two come with two HP bars while Illya, being the main character, has three. Each of the girls’ first HP bars (plus Illya’s second one) has somewhere around 200,000 HP, while all of their final HP bars have over 300,000 HP.
- Upon the start of the fight, Illya will apply a Defense buff (30%), a Damage Cut (500), as well as an Attack debuff (50%) on all three girls, with all three effects lasting for three turns. They can be removed by debuff removal effects.
- The trio’s Break effects are focused upon buffing up Illya. Chloe and Miyu will both charge Illya’s NP bar by 2, plus additional effects (50% Critical Rate from Chloe, and 50% NP Strength from Miyu) which last for 3 turns. Illya’s first Break applies a 3-turn Ignore Invincible on herself, while her second greatly powers her up, granting full NP bars, Buster Performance Up, NP Charge per Turn at the cost of 10,000 HP per turn for 3 turns.
- Should Illya be defeated while her friends are still on the field, they will also gain additional buffs. For Chloe, this comes in the form of 50% Critical Strength and Critical Rate Up plus a 3-hit Evasion, while Miyu will fully charge her NP bar and also gains a further 1 NP bar every turn. These buffs are permanent, though they are removable.
- Being a support, Miyu is by far the least threatening of the three, and should be left for last. In contrast, Chloe comes with an assortment of rather annoying tools: Evasion, Sure Hit, and NP Charge, as well as dealing high critical damage due to her offensive buffs. As killing Illya will further boost Chloe’s criticals, it is recommended to target and defeat the latter first.
- Taking down Illya should be done with caution due to the Ignore Invincible she gets on Break. The safest way would be to wait until her first NP before Breaking, which will result in the Ignore Invincible buff expiring before her second NP. Ideally, neither Chloe nor Miyu should be Breaked within this duration, as they will charge Illya’s NP bar and mess with the timing.
- Alternatively, the three can be bursted down through the use of AoE NP looping with the help of event damage CEs. With this strategy, it’s recommended to Stun Illya during the turn she is expected to NP, which is when both her friends are Breaked.
Team Recommendations
- Both Miyu and Illya are Casters, meaning that Rider damage dealers would do great in this stage. Notable options would be Marie Antoinette, Ishtar (Rider), Astolfo, as well as Mordred (Rider), Francis Drake and Altria Pendragon (Santa Alter), who are all able to benefit from the event damage CE. Single-target options include Medb (who also gains bonus damage in the event), Quetzalcoatl (whose NP applies an NP Seal) as well as Altria Pendragon (Rider Alter) and Anne Bonny & Mary Read.
- Neutral AoE options can also work, such as Minamoto no Raikou, Helena Blavatsky (who gains bonus damage in the event), or one of the many other female AoE options who are not Assassins, Alter Egos or Sabers.
- Notably, Qin Shi Huang benefits from the event damage CE, which enables them to solo the stage under certain conditions.
- Male Servants can be used to complement the primary damage dealer, and can even be used instead of the female options as long as the lack of event damage CE bonus is made up for through the use of stronger supports and/or the Origin Bullet Craft Essence. Single-target Riders such as Ozymandias or Sakata Kintoki (Rider) are excellent secondary damage dealer options, allowing for an easier time against Illya and Miyu.
- Damage supports such as Scathach-Skadi, Merlin, or Tamamo no Mae should be brought along to help the damage dealer(s) more easily deal with the enemies.
- Both Chloe and Illya have ST NPs, meaning that Taunters such as Georgios, Mash Kyrielight or Leonidas can be used to redirect their damage.
- As the event CEs contain no Starting NP effect, Servants who are normally capable of looping may need to hit the enemies with their normal cards in order to fully refund their NP gauge. BB (Summer) proves to be invaluable in this case, potentially giving a Servant access to their best command cards for 3 turns in a row.
