Nothing about it made sense! Back on topic... Use a duplicate Heroic Spirit card to strengthen their Noble Phantasm, which has a maximum level of 5. There are other ways to raise your Servants: Ascension increases the level cap and unlocks new skills, while Skill Enhancement strengthen the effects of those skills. Look for ways to raise them that benefit you more in battle.
