Why no divisions of Tier lists?

Across the fan sites, I have only seen tier lists that combine the different types of servants together. This is like rating all of a sport's players on a single tier list, might be fun but little use when you need to know the best unit of a type. Seams game has the mistake of too many single target bosses but you do need to know best AOE for multi hard content and best AOE to farm.
Special use units don't compare well. I could go on.
AOE Servents suffer because they are compared with a single target. For the most part healing and specialty, units suffer from being on a combined tier. Are there any broken down lists anywhere? How about in future here?

There is not further detailed tier list for 2 reasons

1. You dont need the best units to clear everything in the game
They help for SURE almost everything can be done using "underpowered" units. As a result, such an intricate tier list is unnecessary. Its just sort of a guide as to "this is good" and "this is not"

2. If we did divide everything up in terms of farming/boss killing/whatever roles, we would be here for several decades. Unlike a game like FeH, every unit has a much more complex structures of skills, atk power, specials, wit ha little bit of RNG thrown in there. While 2 units can have the same role(ex: Scathatch/Okita for bosskilling, quick support and stargen) their skill sets and passives make them play differently. Judging between them becomes rather difficult after a while and no-one really wants to sit down and do that

to add on to this, there is no particular reason to go that in-depth. Thanks to the grail system, really any servant is viable. As long as you have someone from each class that you take care to level and raise, the game is really balanced. Some things will be more challenging with lower-level characters, but the game is more around team composition rather than individual strength.
