Are they this Bad ? Because I just summoned it (and lancelot) in the Fate/zero portals and they are my first lancer and assassins 4 star.
Stheno will be good in a divine team after her strengthening ques, cuz she will have a huge charisma (atk buff) for her teammate but for now she is pretty bland assassin.
Fionn however not that good, his only niche is as an arts lancer, which will be great with caster that also focusing on arts (tamamo mae and mozart) his second also quite good (chance to dodge and taunt) but the huge cooldown is a let down.
If you dont have any other servants just use them for now.
I have already a good lancer (cu chulain) but i don't have a good dmage dealer assassin against Rider thus Stheno can do good damage at least or not ?
The main problem that stheno has that her sister, euryale does not is her class. There are not alot of male riders in the game(compared to euryales archer class vs male sabers), so she cant use her effective against males as effectively
If you want a damage dealer assassin than go with jing ke or cursed arm hassan
They are kinda bad. But, they still have some uses, Stheno is good for charm lock team with her sister (Euryale), and for divine team because her atk buff gives more bonus to divine servants. If you want another assassin for rider killing, Jing ke (*3) and Cursed Arm Hassan (*2) are for you until you get better assassins. As for Fionn, I agree with the previous replier. Sure you can use Cu, but he's not that good for farming and ST NP while Fionn has AoE NP. Your alternative would be Hector or Romulus (both are *3), but if they are not NP5, you better off with Fionn until you got better Lancer.
Personally, Fionn gets too much hate. His second ability is amazing despite the cooldown, as it's essentially combining Chevalier D'eon's 2 tank skills into one. His NP is also very good as an AoE lancer. I've personally rolled specifically for him (as in I was spooked 2x by him during Brynhildr). Don't get me wrong, he's not great, but the main reason people don't use him is "WELL HE ISN'T CU"
