Short Answer: Scathach's a good enough Lancer. Unless you really like Brynhildr I wouldn't recommend trying to roll her.

Long Answer: Scathach's all about dealing damage with both a stun and evade skill. Brynhildr can heal and give an ally higher star absorbtion, decrease enemy np damage and crit rate and deal decent damage though not as good as Scathach and she lacks survivability.

Brynhildr ability and damage does not impress me, will pass on her. Plus as a FTP player, I'm saving for jean alter. so far 215 quarts and 40 tickets. hopefully she does not suck me dry by not appearing, but going to risk that for her. After her, it's merlin.

Same, i'm saving with 2 accounts and got 500 quarts and 40 tickets on both, hopefully that'll be enough for her.

While Scath does more damage then Bryn when she crits (if her 80% skill goes off) Bryn's NP will actually do more damage if you use a buster bonus with her NP, which you always should.

If you're curious the math breaks down like this
Scath: 1600% *0.8 quick *1.5(skill)=1920%
Bryn: 800% *1.5 buster *1.4(Skill)*(1.2 buster 3 card bonus)=2016%
With Bryn also having attack stats.
If they are divine it's obviously a different story, but then Bryn will also stomp if they are beloved. Although it's worth noting Bryn is muuuuuuuuuch better at generating NP then Scath.

This isn't made up for by the fact that Scath has a dodge and that stun on her NP, but I hope people aren't confused into thinking Scath's NP does more. Also, that crit bonus is a really big deal, but man I do not like relying on that 80% when using her. There isn't quite as big a gulf as some seem to believe and Bryn does bring a lot of cool utility to the table but I do agree you really only need one of them.

If anyone is still on the fence on rolling for bryn, I saw this earlier in the Brynhildr page. This video shows a detailed explanation on Bryn vs. Scath. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgUOV9b0VGU&t=
