Different servants merely require different bond points across classes and rarities. I don't think there's a gameplay reason for it.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the "darker" a character's back story is, the harder they are to bond with. F.e. Carmilla supposedly needs 35000 bond to reach rank 5 vs someone more positive, like Jeannu.

Servants need between 10k-50k bond points to get 5 level of bond and all Avengers exept Salieri require 50k, so it always will be hard with them
