How is crit damage calculated?

How is crit damage calculated? I’m just wondering if high hit counts is more favourable for crit damage. I see Cu Chulainn and Quetz get insane crit damage, while Ozy gets dung. I have a hunch it’s because of their hit counts. Just wondering.

Hit counts don't actually affect damage dealt except in the case of Musashi's Fifth Force. If Quetz is doing insane crit damage it's because of her third skill. Ozy has no crit skills so his crit damage will not be insane without crit damage buffs. You also have to look at card type because buster crits > arts crits > quick crits.

Hit count dont affect damage. Quetz have 50% crit damage boost in its kit and have other damage multiplier such as buster up and along with support with attack up have a very high damage ceiling (only one turn). The same goes for Cu proto. Ozy, on the other hand, is not intended for burst damage and end the battle in a few turns, Ozy is insane with its long duration fight and can dish out way more damage than the above 2 in long duration fight and have a lower damage ceiling. Combining seconf and 3rd skill literally makes him deal berserker damamge while as tanky as a ruler. He can also effectively support team with buffs and use his NP to seal opponent NP and def down which is so important in high difficulty. Both Quetz and Ozy are strong ST NP rider but they are strong in different areas.

Link is the damage formula for FGO. Hit Counts on cards do not affect damage done.
