I recently just started playing the JP version and i have to say they get way more sq than the NA server simply just by logging in (literally got 17 sq today) whereas on my NA account you get only 4 a week?
I guess what i want to know is what are everyone's thoughts on this? Of course i know JP is a little more advanced than ours in a sense but do you think we would get something like this in the future? why or why not??
The JP server's starter login bonuses are much better than the NA ones. I just started a reroll acc on JP for Murasaki and realized how bad our bonuses are... I don't think after the starter bonuses we'll get more SQ than on NA (I can't check it on my main JP acc right now, I can't connect to it for some reason, so my informations can be wrong...).
Just wait and hope...
We are following JP schedule for 2 years earlier. The raise and quit of Shiokawa Yousuke or other critical staffs changed many thing. Right now we are in JP 2017, but do you know how bad for initial FGO before chapter 5? Way salty gocha system, way worse AP recovery, way stupid bonus, etc. At least NA didnt meet such thing since in NA's 2017 (JP 2015), DW already changed something for NA server.
I think, and this is pure speculation on my part, that they don't give us as much SQ because we have such advance notice of banners that JP players don't get.
JP players, from what I have read, have little to no notice of when a character is on rate up and could quite easily end up using all their SQ on a banner and then the next one is a character they really want but they won't have enough SQ (without buying it from the store) to get.
By giving us less SQ that leaves us struggling to save for these banners we know that are coming up. This is especially true when multiple good characters come in a row. So, by my thinking, we get desperate and eventually break down and purchase more SQ.
The outcome is the same for JP and NA: We buy more saint quarts
That is what they want. For us to buy saint quarts because that is how they make their money. The makers of FGO could theoretically love this game, the characters, and the community with all their hearts but that doesn't pay the bills.
Again, this is pure speculation on my part.
