Is there a buster servant that had a decent NP gen or star gen? and what made them at least decent enough?
Both Ozy, and Drake are very good light buster servants with great NP gen and star gen. Ozy has a team wide 20% NP battery (rare on non-casters) and very good star gen on his (sadly) one quick card.
Drake on the other hand has a nice 50% self NP battery, an NP that spits out stars, and a skill that gives 10 stars. Also she has a great quick card as well, still sadly only 1.
Skills that gives you flat NP amount, np generation rate, star generation rate
Hit counts on cards, base generation rate.
etc.
Drake makes a fine example. Her deck is BBAAQ with Buster NP. She can both increase her np gen rate as well as gaining flat NP amount from pioneer of the stars. For stars, she gains flat amount from NP as OC, as well as fairly decent hit count on NP itself.
Gilgamesh gains flat NP from his 3 as well as NP gen rate from golden rule.
Some outlier servants also pack high hitcounts on their own Buster, with high base gen, making their Buster a pseudo-generation tool. Kiyo summer is an example.
Musashi actually has awesome generation stats on both her single arts and quick card.
Her NP gain is actually pretty good itself, add her 5th Force which doubles her hit counts and you have an even better NP gain. Her 3rd skill also increases her Star Gen.
When I'm fooling around, I take double Merlin and can actually get over 50 stars with an NPBQ Chain. Her buster chain also generates good stars with all those buffs, but definitely not as much as with a quick card.
Asides from those already mentioned, Ibaraki also has a fairly decent NP/star gen. Although, hers is tied to using an ABQE combo.
Raikou is another decent choice, especially in the Beserker class. 3 hits on her quick cards, 4 on Arts and 5 hits on her extra means you can get a decent amount of stars from a QAA chain. She has a great star gen off of her NP. Hitting a wave with her NP will generate 25 plus stars. Since she has a star absorption rate up skill, that means she can overcome the berserkers low absorption rate and really make use of those stars.
