so i lack a strong berserker and i want to try my luck in the onigashima event knowing it has kintoki and raiko as rate ups
i just want to know are they worth the investement and what are their strong points
Raikou is a pseudo Gilgamesh, in that she deals extra damage via Mystic Slayer to enemies with the demonic trait and Earth and Sky attribute servants, of which there are many. She is able to generate critical stars via her NP and absorb them for some crazy Berserker crit damage with her 1st skill.
TLDR: She is the best farming Berserker and an excellent pull.
As a master with Momma Raiku at bond 10 I can confirm she is worth everything and made a huge difference in my daily FGO life(Thank you summon ticket!). She is for sure one of the best farming servants but don't fall into thinking she is just here for farming. If a boss has the traits that fall under her mystic slayer she can absolutely melt them. Even more so if you can keep her supplied with crit stars which she can absorb on demand with another of her skills.
She was my primary servant for most of my farming with the demon pillars. The only time she wouldn't be able to one turn was if the first draw didn't have at least 1 of her buster cards or if she'd choke a 90% crit.
Overall she's a really good utility who can function in a handful of different roles. I don't own Kintoki who is a solid all around boss slayer and would be a worthy addition as well. Thanks to his NP gain skill that maxes at 50% he can launch basically on demand with the help of the right CE or a waver support(Tho Merlin obvi more damage upside).
Strong points about Raikou, she's a universal boss killer and farmer. Buster Crit Zerker like her can melt almost everything.
Don't underestimate premiere AOE servants, some is simply too strong like Gilgamesh, Raikou, Ishtar, Zerkerlot and etc.
They're called premiere for some reason, that's because they're far above another AOE servants in terms of gameplay and is also a strong boss killer and farmer at the same times.
Servant like Raikou, Gil, Ishtar and other mentioned servants can cover both ST and AOE roles. Servants that can cover this roles is VERY RARE and mostly all of them is powerful.
Gameplay wise, if you don't have servants like Musashi and Jalter, Raikou can do all of their job as well. Basic class advantage system will says they're ST and AOE but Raikou is a freaking Raikou, she TOOK BOTH of their JOBS. Her only weakness is her survivability but if you can cover and protect her then you can just destroy almost everything.
Raikou also is far stronger than Kintoki Zerker gameplay and lore wise, Kintoki can burst down an enemy boss but Raikou can do that as well. Kintoki can't do wave clearing and farming but Raikou can, you see the difference ?
She's worth the long term Investment.
Bonus : when you realize her Buster passive rank is EX and her atk stat is very high, but this game can be cleared by using 1-3 stars and roll for who you like the most.
If Raikou's your favorite unit then it's a total win-win situations for you.
Having Raikou aswell, I would say she is worth rolling for without a doubt. I know i'm going to roll for NP2 she is outstanding.
Raikou is the only 5* AOE Zerk, and she is extremely amazing in both farming and story rush in that you will still see more than 4 of her on the support list in JP. Investing her is definitely worthed and I would recommend everyone to get her.
Raikou is my first Servant to get to bond 10 ever since I pulled her last year, I guess that sort of explains how good she is. In fact, I even got her to NP2 in a recent banner and with Memelin now coming into the picture she is a god like servants in most of the contents - farming or boss fights. Go ahead and pull her, you will not regret.
Gameplay wise, Raikou is Boss - she will help you in daily farming as well as in some of the harder content as she has special damage plus to demonic and servants with heaven or earth attributes (which is quite a number).
You will also get a nice amount of stars from her NP and if you mana burst prior to unleashing her NP (obviously that's what the skill is there for), you also get an evade which keeps Raikou in the game - which means you get a 2nd chance to buster crit combo spam the survivors (if there are any).
Highly recommended!! My most used zerker after BA-SA-KA..
raikou is one of the strongest servant in the game BY FAR.
not only she is a crit buster zerker in the age of merlin, but she also cover both role for farming and boss kill.
She is still second to Cu Alter as "strongest zerker" but since they are so different, thets not a problem (plus she can farm, so she have thet edge over cu).
She is absolutly worh.
Kintoki is a 1 turn 1 kill.
you put him in the back line, then when is the boss turn you use the combat suit to swap someone with 3 card in the front line with him, charge his np and NPBB chain the boss to death.
i kinda dont like him, and he is not thet versatile, or able to survive, but he is good for thet single turn.
