Is Dante worth it if I already have a Gorgon and Merlin team? While Skadi is eventually coming to boost Quick teams, my line up of Quick is very small, mainly consisting of Astolfo, Marie, Kintoki (Rider), Fran, Grailed Cu Lancer and Scathach (Assassin), with the last 3 being the only ones I actively use (waiting for Kintoki Ascension materials to use him more). I don't have a lot of SQ left and I am trying to save for the new Classes of Servants who will be coming soon, as well as waifu banners coming up to hurt my wallet further, so Dante doesn't feel all that necessary to me.
I wouldn't unless you really like him. Dantes is really overshadowed by Jalter and even Gorgon for Avengers until Skadi comes out (in over a year) if you have Merlin, and even then I still think he's outclassed by other servants that can give type advantage. The next time he'll be up after this is in summer 2020 for NA, which is around when Skadi should be out anyway.

As a long term investment yes as he becomes easily one of the most valuble farming servants in the game after skadi and his np power up, those youtube channels probably show his powerful spammable np which is even with neutral damage is amazing, however until then he's just decent so unless you have a lot of patience or really like him i'd say pass on this banner, gorgon will fufill your occasional avenger needs for now anyway, especially with merlin.
Not really no, even with Skadi there are other alternatives for farming so he isn't really anything special. Roll if you like him, that's it.
Are you playing JP? There are barely any servants who can do nps back to back and clear a wear of enemies with over 200000 health like dantes, most good ones right now can do that once maybe twice with waver and then thats it(including start np from ce and skills) , unless im mistaken, which servants have you got in mind?
Arts team thanks to the last skill upgrade on Tamamo are pretty good for farming/wave clearing, a good example would be Hokusai. I've seen some videos where they could spam NPs every wave.
I know Dantes had a NP upgrade and he's very good now but there are always alternatives, it's not like you can't 3 turn farm without him.
Ah true, my bad i still do think he's worth rolling gameplay wise though, just depends on whether you have skadi or a good arts support
Well. Dante is indeed great with dual Skadi. But if not rolling Dante, we still have Atalante, Achilles, Valkyrie & Bradamante and even Berserker Lancelot, etc which are fairly paired with dual SKadi, or Skadi+Waver. I think Dante is same as Jalter for Buster/critical team, because their versatile against most classes enemy. The issue for such servants I mentioned except Lancelot is their possibility to face against class they are weak for, and Lancelot has somehow low NP gain even with his 3rd skill trigger which make such team more unreliable (But I do see his NP spam with dual Skadi)
Overall Dante is greatest, but others wont be fall behind too much. Achilles could be even better in some cases.
I rolled for him, simply because he caught my eye during the Solomon chapter (his entrance to the battle field was just too cool) and now during his event I get to like him even more.
But will I use him a lot? Probably... No. I already have a maxed out Jalter and even then I would probably consider other possibilities. Will I level him first and foremost? Even that's a no. I have a lot of other Servants that I want to take care of before him. Plus, as he is an Extra Class, he will only gain higher experience trough All Class-EXP-Cards, which aren't farmable. And even then... For his final ascension he needs 10 Feathers AND 10 Hearts. And the ones I got from the Moon Goddess Event are already away due to other Servants.
So even leveling him will be a pain. Meaning, he will most likely gather dust in a corne on the bottom of my Servant list.
A lot of negative points, I know. Why do I still have him? First, because I'm a whale. Second, because it only took me 40 Sq to get him. I wouldn't even have gone farther than that, so I was quite fortunate.
So should you roll for him, even though you have little SQ left and are saving for waifus and new classes.
Unless you're a whale like me, than the answer is a definite No.
If you do roll for him, make sure you have him at least NP 2 for him to be in his prime. NP 1 is doable for general purpose farming but in terms of CQ and higher hp farming, NP 2 would be the way to go.
