It’s not a soft lock, i think you should check the event filter when you’re selecting your support if you’re not seeing your friend’s servants.

Permanent soft-lock in Final Singularity?
Hey there, I've been playing FGO since May of 2018. I just finished the 7th Singularity just recently. However, I am unable to start any of the battles in the Final Singularity and when I try picking a support servant, it says "Unable to fine the corresponding criteria." Since I finished the 7th Singularity after December 31st does that mean I can't finish the game? I've also heard there's some future events (JP version) that require the final singularity to be completed.
In short, if you didn't complete the Final Singularity before December 31st, is it a permanent soft-lock?

I checked the event filters and that seemed what was causing it to happen. I honestly thought I was screwed for a moment, derp.
