Overview
“What are those Chaldeans gonna do? One-turn me?”
- Pillar who got one-turned -
Solomon is a one-off event that can be considered the one and only quasi-PvP event so far in the game. All the Demon Pillars have finite lives and will only be up for as long as it takes for the community to abuse them all. Due to the enormous rewards one can get from whacking Demon Pillars, including QP and several high-profile Ascension Materials, it is highly recommended to go hard farming this event before the poor Pillars all disappear into oblivion.
As all Raid Quests are single boss affairs, this event heavily favors Servants with powerful single target burst to score as many Demon Pillar kills as possible. Some Pillars (Barbatos) will be in high demand and will die faster than the others, so pay attention to the lives count to not miss out on farming the right materials.
The favored composition for this event is a strong single target DPS accompanied by a support squad that provides as much buffing potential as possible. It is highly recommended to run either the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code for a buff stacking strategy, Anniversary Blond for Buster Crit teams, or the Mage Association Uniform for its NP battery and Card Shuffling skills. Completing the Pillar fights is not particularly challenging, even for weaker Masters, but clearing the bosses as fast as possible is where the real challenge lies.
Higher Bond Levels in particular provide some hefty bonus damage, so do take it into account when crafting a team. Having at least Bond level 5 on your DPS Servants is fairly easy to achieve luckily, and the damage bonus effect is quite significant even with the basic damage buff. Friend support Servants do carry over their bond level, and for Masters without a powerful ST Servant (at high NP/bond level) it’s an excellent idea to simply borrow the DPS instead.
At the start of each battle, one of the random support effects from the Demon Pillars will go into effect. The Card type effects in particular can be incredibly debilitating. These (de)buffs are all removable, and bringing a debuff cleanse can be very valuable for reducing the random nature of the encounters. Note that only the frontline is affected by the debuffs, and using the Order Change ability from the Chaldea Combat Uniform is an alternate way of avoiding the random debuff by starting the DPS Servant in the backline.
The difficulty is not particularly high during these raid battles due to the nice bonus damage buff from bond levels. Therefore, the focus is on providing some general recommendations, the best support picks, and some of the best DPS picks suitable for clearing each Demon Pillar. However, the power of each Servant is highly affected by their bond level and NP upgrades. Therefore, interpret this list with a more subjective grain of salt than usual!
How fast can I clear?
Actually taking out the Demon Pillars in one NP, or even a single turn with the right card draw, does require a fair bit of set up and preparation. A very useful tool for figuring out the damage potential of your roster is the FGO calculator. Make a copy and play around with various buff levels and composition for exact damage ranges.
In any case, the capability for clearing fast is mainly determined by:
-
Max level, max skilled, fou’d and even grailed DPS Servant
-
Bond level
-
NP Level
-
CE choice + level of CE
-
Owning Servants who can boost NP gauge, notably Waver
-
Having high skill levels on Supports with damage buffs
-
Man trait Servants to exploit Sky trait of Demon Pillars
The key to reach really high damage numbers is to stack as many different offensive buffs as possible. Buster Servants are particularly powerful as Merlin’s sheer range of damage buffs is incredible. Still, a combination of high NP levels and high bond levels is essential to being able to one shot a Demon Pillar reliably without having to rely on the right card draw.
For any Servant who relies on additional basic attacks to clear a pillar, the random nature of the card draws will slow down the clear speed. The best set ups therefore rely mostly on the NP to deal damage. Some Servants, like Lu Bu or welfare Servants become extra valuable as a result.
General Craft Essence Recommendations
Any Craft Essence can be selected for this event, but some of the Craft Essences scale harder than others for this event. In order to be able to clear fast, maximum efficiency is highly preferred. This section will go over what Craft Essences are going to be most useful and highly prized in setting up a quick farming team during this event. There are 2 main factors to keep in the back of your mind: The bond level buff scales additively with NP Damage Up and, especially for lower rarity Servants, the flat attack on a high level Limit-Broken CE. Some unmentioned options may be stronger if the CE is MLB or higher level.
CE | Description |
Golden Sumo: Boulder Tournament | With 50% Starting NP gauge, a high natural level due to being an Event CE, 15% Attack bonus on top AND having Attack as its sole stat makes Golden Sumo one of, if not the best no-brainer choice for all DPS. The key here is that Golden Sumo stacks multiplicatively with the bond level boost and tends to be given a high level by most Masters for more attack stats. The Starting NP Gauge opens up more support options that aren’t Waver. |
The Black Grail | Having one of the highest Attack stats in the game when Max Limit Broken and a humongous 80% NP bonus damage on top, The Black Grail is one of the best Craft Essence for Damage Dealers. Despite stacking additively with the bond level bonus, it still scales very well for Servants with an NP gauge boost of their own. For especially high bond level Servants, this CE becomes comparatively less powerful, but still powerful enough due to the sheer values on it. |
Kaleidoscope | Kaleidoscope is the best NP starting gauge CE in the game and is usable by almost every Damage Dealer who wants to kickstart their Noble Phantasm as soon as possible. Thanks to its high raw Attack stat, it also not only scales extremely well, but also allows for more flexible support options. For any Servant without an NP charging skill, a Kaleidoscope is essential for being able to set up powerful one turn kill potential. It’s also useful on any support with an NP that inflicts or grants further (de)buffs, such as Waver or Martha to reliably unleash more damage. |
CE | Description |
Ox-Demon King | With Buster (Critical) Teams being the premier boss killing set up for this event, Ox-Demon King is immensely valuable on any active Support. At Max Limit Break, each individual Ox-Demon King carrier on the field will grant a 15% bonus Buster performance to the team. A very powerful option for Masters who picked up some of these during the Go West event and synergizes very well with the Chaldea Combat Uniform. |
Golden Captures the Carp | Another Craft Essence that works extremely well with most Buster Critical One-turn setups in general. Golden Captures the Carp solves one of the issues most one-turn set up that relies on Crit often face - the lack of an instant Critical Star Generation button. While Mozart is a fantastic F2P Servant that can alleviate this issue, Servants slots often come at a higher premium than a CE. With two Golden Carp Capture, the main damage dealer should have incredible odds to do Critical Damage on the first turn (provided the right hand was drawn). Players can also mix and match a Golden Captures the Carp with the Ox-Demon King CE to further increase combat performance if there is another source for Critical Stars such as Lancer Altria Alter’s 2nd skill or the Anniversary Blonde Mystic Code. |
Mona Lisa | A great backline Craft Essence if players have some space to slot it in. The Demon Pillar drops a sizable amount of QP per battle on top of its natural material drops. As you naturally kill the Pillars throughout the event, the QP will stack up quite nicely as well. |
Support Recommendations - General
Due to this Event being a buff stacking contest, offensive Supports are highly desirable. Having a strong Support squad from a combination of one’s Servant roster as well as Friend List can help immensely in taking out the Pillar quickly. The beauty of Fate/Grand Order is that some of the best Supports in the game have lower Rarity, meaning even players who are unlucky with the gacha can still field an effective babysitting squad.
Servant | Description |
Zhuge Liang (El Melloi II) | Merlin may have taken the throne as the top support Servant for difficult quests, but Zhuge Liang is still the king of farming. 50% NP charge on an ally is invaluable for most one-turn setups, and his offensive buffs are also ridiculously powerful to boot. Zhuge Liang also boasts unrivaled versatility, as he can support all team archetypes without breaking a sweat. Fielding Zhuge Liang with Starting NP gauge for an extra defense down is also quite effective. |
Merlin | The spotlight Servant of this Event, our favorite meme wizard provides one of the most powerful offensive buffs in the game in Hero Creation. Combined with his ability to charge teammates’ NP bars with Dreamlike Charisma, he is one of the best picks for farming, especially for players who have a strong Buster Crit lineups. Double Merlin and Merlin x Waver are both very simple to use and have absurd face-melting potential. His potential in this event is slightly diminished by requiring all of his materials ready ahead of time. |
William Shakespeare | Don’t let his demeanor and low rarity status fool you, Shakespeare is a very effective pick for teams that utilize the Chaldea Combat Uniform. Thanks to a team-wide Buster buff and targetable NP charge, both with very good values, he is highly valuable for any Buster-centric team. |
Helena Blavatsky | For an event that does not require lengthy battles, this lovely lady is quite a high profile pick. Possessing card performance buffs, Defense debuff on Noble Phantasm as well as an invaluable Party-wide 20% NP Gauge boost, Helena can fit in many lineups as secondary support and NP enabler. |
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart | Mozart is best summed up as an “I want to crit this turn” button. His third skill, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, ensures that everyone on the team will do Critical damage that turn, which has immense value for many one-turn setups. Furthermore, his first skill is not to be overlooked either, bringing a humongous 44% Arts buff to the entire party. This allows Mozart to function as a Critical enabler in both Buster Crit and Arts Crit teams, especially for players who do not have Golden Captures the Carp. NOTE: Mozart is one of the best candidates for being the frontline debuff eater as he can spawn his critical stars and be swapped out without losing out on an empty Servant spot. |
Tamamo-no-Mae | Tamamo has one of, if not the best Arts buffs in the game in Fox Wedding. While she is most definitely more well-suited to longer battles, the strength of Fox Wedding can help many Arts-centric teams kickstart their Noble Phantasm chains. |
Nightingale | Possessing a targetable Buster buff with great value, Nightingale can serve as a weaker version of Merlin for players that do not have the flowery wizard. Nightingale also deals decent damage compared to other Supports thanks to being a Berserker, but it is not something one should count on when crafting a team to quickly take out the Demon Pillars. Can also be a debuff cleanser. |
Ozymandias | Being both a strong attacker himself and featuring two amazing buffs in Charisma and Protection from Ra, Ozymandias is a great NP enabler who can deal serious damage even when he is not the recipient of teammates’ buffs. Does have a high star weight. |
Gilgamesh (Caster) | Having a powerful Arts buff, Charisma, Defense debuff on Noble Phantasm and a ridiculous Star Generation buff, Gilgamesh can work with many different Arts Servants and is a great Arts Critical enabler overall. His star generation capability isn’t very relevant in one turn composition though. |
Nero Claudius (Bride) | Nero Bride brings two very potent buffs in the form of Attack and NP generation rate, which is extremely valuable for an offensive Arts team. She is also a decent NP spammer with good single target damage and can lead a Noble Phantasm chain to take advantage of her Defense debuff. |
Hans Christian Andersen | While Hans works a lot better in longer battles, his ability to provide Attack, Critical Damage, and Critical Stars all at once makes him a stellar support for Critical Teams, albeit one that lacks the explosiveness of Merlin and/or Zhuge Liang. |
Atalante Scathach Alexander | When it comes to supporting Quick Servants, these Servants all pack some interesting Quick buffs. Scathach and Atalante provide the strongest buffs. |
Quetzalcoatl | Wrestling Support? What? Despite her Rider class star weight, Quetzalcoatl can provide both a high value Charisma (21%) and a targetable Buster buff (30%). A darkhorse pick for one shot compositions. |
Elisabeth Bathory | Since her Rank Up, Elisabeth can provide up to 60% effective attack to female Servants, an incredible amount. She pulls ahead of other conditional charisma supports such as Medb, Jeanne d’Arc Alter and Stheno, but those Servants are alternatives as well. |
Support Recommendations - Debuff Cleansing
The various Demon Pillars can be a massive pain in ruining a well put together team with their raid debuffs. While it’s possible to rely on Mystic Codes or Craft Essences for cleansing or dodging the big debuffs, relying on Servants is less costly in terms of damage buffs or lost attack. There aren’t that many Servants with a debuff cleanse, but the best options are:
Servant | Description |
Saint Martha | Saint Martha is far and away the best option for cleansing the debuffs of the entire team in this event. After her Rank Up Martha can also inflict a heavy defense down to facilitate one-shotting. Even her NP grants a noticeable defense down and can be part of a Buster Chain. The only drawback is her high star weight. |
Medea (Rank Up) | After her Rank Up, Medea gains a targetable debuff cleanse. As Medea is a great investment either way, and freely available, she is probably the most common option for most Masters looking to clear their debuffs. |
Charles-Henri Sanson (Rank Up) | After his Rank Up Quest, Sanson can remove debuffs with his 2nd skill. Unlike Medea it doesn’t grant a beneficial boon and his star weight is slightly higher. A nice alternative to Medea. |
Arash | Arash could potentially NP on the first turn to both absorb any debuffs and do some damage before bringing in the main DPS. Try and lock the pillar down to prevent any new skills from coming into effect while doing so. |
Nightingale (NP) | For Masters of this scary medic, her NP can remove debuffs just fine. However, using her NP blocks any potential Brave Chain and it needs to be charged first (expensive). To make up for it, Nightingale provides her incredible Buster buff. |
Medea (Lily) (NP) | Unlike Nightingale, Medea Lily can charge her own NP instantly and use it to cleanse debuffs. She still prevents any Brave Chain however. |
Marie Antoinette (NP) | The least attractive option to cleanse debuffs, Marie Antoinette requires both her NP to be charged, provides no other useful buffs and has a high star weight. |
There are a few Servants who can cleanse their own debuffs, thereby opening up their support options. Notably, Ibaraki stands out as a top option for this purpose. Other options include the likes of Enkidu, Mordred, and Dantes.
DPS Recommendations - General
While specific Demon Pillars will have Servants more specialized in taking them down, the DPS Servants mentioned below can function well in most, if not all, battles against the Demon Pillars and can be a very good option if players lack a specific DPS niche to fulfill the job.
Servant | Description |
Lu Bu Fengxian | If you have this formidable specimen of a warrior at a high NP level, level him up ASAP. His Noble Phantasm at level 5 outdamages the vast majority of SSRs in the game at NP level 1 while being more accessible and easy to use. He also possesses the Man trait for even more increased damage, and a star focus skill. Lu Bu Fengxian, however, requires NP charge to work, so Zhuge Liang and any other NP Battery Servants are a must for him. This guy is the best no-brainer choice DPS for the entirety of the event. When you are ever in doubt, stick with the Flying General. |
Sakata Kintoki | With his humongous burst potential and 50% NP charge in Animal Dialogue, Kintoki is a very simple ‘Hit X to Smash’ button for farming, especially when combined with either Zhuge Liang, Merlin or both. As most battles in Solomon do not take long to finish, his survivability is much less of an issue than usual. With high bond levels and extra NP levels, Kintoki is among the best Servants to farm super quickly, especially with his Man trait. |
Jeanne d'Arc (Alter) | The release of Merlin is what pushes Jeanne Alter over the top. Thanks to her neutral damage, she works well in all the battles of this event, doubly so against the Berserker Pillar (Halphas). It is quite easy to set up a one-turn team with her and double Merlin, with either Anniversary Blond, Golden Captures the Carp or Mozart accompanied by Chaldea Combat Uniform providing Critical Stars for one of her infamous Critical Brave Chains. The Ultimate gacha team. |
Beowulf Heracles Cu Chulainn (Alter) Ibaraki-Douji Minamoto-no-Raikou | Their class grants them enough firepower to stay relevant against all pillars, which gets even more powerful after being supported by the likes of Merlin and Zhuge Liang, making them strong flex picks for battles that players might not have a specialist for. Heracles is also one of the most bonded Servants in the game - but does lack the sheer firepower to clear without extra Buster cards. Good bond levels and high NP levels are required to compete with the sheer ferocity of Lu Bu though. |
Vlad III | Vlad is a decent choice for players who want to run Arts teams, instead. He has good enough offensive power and can chain Noble Phantasms with teammates’ support to take out the Demon Pillar within a few turns. He does need high bond levels and preferably NP upgrades to comfortably clear the boss as quickly as Buster options. |
Flauros
As Dragon’s Reverse Scales are not a particularly high demand material after Christmas, and Single Target Sabers are not that common, this Demon Pillar probably won’t die early on. It has a decent rate for Octuplet Twin Crystals and Hero’s Proofs, however, both very commonly used.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Okita Souji | While she is not a Buster Servant, Okita’s ability to chain her Noble Phantasm and Critical Hits should not be underestimated. Her damage output is quite formidable thanks to her amazing self-sufficiency, allowing her to quickly take out Flauros with a few Noble Phantasms. She also possesses the right trait for oneshot potential with high bond levels and NP upgrades. |
Elisabeth Bathory (Brave) | Even ignoring her third skill, Brave Liz is still a solid welfare Servant with a selfish NP charge and respectable Noble Phantasm. Thanks to her free NP5 status as an event Servant, she can deal significant damage to the boss despite her lower stats and weaker-than-normal steroid. |
Rama | Strong Single Target Noble Phantasm, high Critical Damage, and synergy with Merlin make Rama a top pick for this Demon Pillar. But, he does need a high bond level or NP upgrades to compete with Lu Bu. |
Lancelot (Saber) | Lancelot has an immensely self-sufficient kit for boss killing. With offensive support providing the necessary steroid, Lancelot can decimate Flauros with his powerful Critical-focused kit. Sadly, he is hindered a bit by his Earth trait. |
Altera | Altera’s naturally high Base Attack and the ability to function as a Buster Critical Damage Dealer thanks to post-Rank Up Natural Body makes her a good option for Flauros. Her Noble Phantasm also has a Defense debuff which makes it a very good leading Noble Phantasm for either Brave Chain or NP Chain. |
Forneus
Forneus is only behind Barbatos in term of desirability, mainly due to two reasons. Caster enemies are very easy to take out thanks to the plethora of strong Riders in the game. Secondly, Phoenix Feathers are both extremely valuable and tedious to farm. Be sure to drop by and say a few nice words to him while you can, before he quickly follows his best friend Barbatos.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Quetzalcoatl | With her third skill Lucha Libre and all her offensive tools, Quetzalcoatl can melt this gentleman very quickly, especially when buffed by Merlin and Zhuge Liang. Might |
Sakata Kintoki (Rider) | Kintoki returns for the nth time as the champion of the F2P. With his powerful Golden Drive Good Night and extraordinary NP generation rate, Kintoki can carry many players in this battle even without the backing of god-tier Supports. Even non-F2P Masters may consider using him for his absurd burst and self-sufficiency. Sadlty, he does have the Earth trait, but he should be powerful enough to blast through anyone. |
Ozymandias | While he is mentioned in the General Support List, it should not be forgotten that Ozy is also a nuclear warhead in his own right. |
Ushiwakamaru | Ushi has very easy access to high NP levels thanks to her low Rarity. Her skill set and Noble Phantasm are nothing to scoff at either and players who lack premium SSR Riders or missed the Onigashima event can easily count on this lovely tengu to do the job. |
Anne Bonny & Mary Read | This duo has a great burst ceiling. However, their NP generation rate is frankly terrible and thus they require a lot of support to pull off their setup. Generally, it’s better to go back to a Berserker than rely on these pirates unless they have high NP and bond levels. |
Barbatos
The famous victim of the biggest bullying case in the Human Order, Barbatos-chan. Dropping both Hearts of a Foreign God and Forbidden Pages at the same time is a guaranteed death sentence in the cold, harsh world of Fate/Grand Order. At least the suffering will end very quickly, so Master of Chaldea, be sure to pay a few visits to Barbatos-chan while you can.
In term of setup, the lack of single target Casters can be quite troublesome to many players. Neutral damage dealers such as Berserkers or Jeanne d’Arc (Alter) can be considered to fulfill the duty instead if necessary. Lu Bu will readily outdamage even higher bond levels Xuanzang and Illyasviel at NP1 for example.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Illyasviel von Einzbern | Who would win? One of the 72 Demon Gods that command legions of Demon in mythology, or a grade schooler with a talking stick? While she somewhat falls off for a few turns after her Noble Phantasm, Illya’s burst as a Caster is still quite powerful. Just remember to bring offensive buffing and NP charging supports and watch this little girl beat Barbatos into submission. |
Xuanzang Sanzang | Sanzang trades burst potential for much easier NP spam with her High-Speed Sutra Incantation skill, but it does not mean she cannot deliver a heavy punch or ten. Being less reliant on NP battery support also grants the players more flexibility in choosing the best CE and support squad for her. |
Medea | Medea’s NP modifier is quite low as compensation for her ridiculous NP uptime and on-demand access to it. Being a 3-Star Caster, she is also quite easy to obtain and is a fantastic choice for players without either of the two SSR Single Target Casters. She’ll stab away for a while, but she will grind down this Pillar. |
Nursery Rhyme | Thanks to her Self-Modification skill, Nursery Rhyme can work as a decent Arts Critical Servant. When supported by Servants like Zhuge Liang, Mozart, Tamamo-no-Mae or Gilgamesh (Caster), she can deal respectable damage that is enough to take out Barbatos over a few turns. |
Halphas
Due to his class, Halphas is one of the Pillars in contention to disappear fast after Barbatos and Forneus. His list of drops aren’t particularly amazing aside from Unlucky Bone, but he is relatively easy to farm with a great variety of Servants that can work against him. Plus, Spirit Roots are required for Merlin.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Jeanne d'Arc (Alter) | While mentioned in the general recommendations, Jeanne d'Arc Alter's sheer damage potential against Berserker is insane. Feed her some critical stars and a Merlin and watch Halphas burn. |
Chloe von Einzbern | One of the best boss killing welfare Servants thanks to a combination of NP charge, Card Performance buffs and high NP damage. Chloe is extremely easy to set up and use, with an enormous return on investment, particularly for F2P players |
Sakata Kintoki (Rider) | Similar to Chloe, Kintoki definitely does not lack anything that he needs to bulldoze this Pillar with his motorbike. The lack of strong Quick supports might make him slightly less bursty than Chloe, but he is still extremely easy to take advantage of. |
Quetzalcoatl | Easy self-enabling Critical Damage and massive burst potential, what else do you want from this reliable big sis? Just pop Critical Stars with Mozart/Anniversary Blond, buff her up and watch her wrestle Demon Pillars with Lucha Libre for fun. |
Scathach | Scathach’s sheer NP damage at high bond levels and NP levels makes her an ideal candidate to attempt to one shot the Demon Pillar. Despite her Quick NP, she can also synergize well with Merlin’s critical potential. |
Amon Ra
Amon Ra is most likely the last to go, as strong single target Assassins are quite rare. Furthermore, aside from Servants released during Camelot, there aren’t that many Servants that demand a lot of the materials that he drops. Generally, try to stick with the Berserker or Avenger options as they synergize a bit better with the support options and due to class modifiers do similar, if not better, damage to boot.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Ryougi Shiki (Assassin) | When the boss is not a Female enemy, Ryougi is the Queen of Rider Slayers. With her self-sufficiency, Ryougi can function even in a weaker team and hard-carry. |
Jack the Ripper | Even without bonus damage against Female enemies, Jack is still a top-tier Assassin with absurd NP generation and Star generation on top of a strong Quick steroid. |
Carmilla | Carmilla has noticeably lower damage compared to the two top Assassin, but she is definitely not lacking in terms of NP generation. Furthermore, her Buster Noble Phantasm means she can be paired with Merlin, who will be quite common in Friend Support Lists. |
Mysterious Heroine X | Despite her lackluster skillset, her damage output is quite potent thanks to the combination of having a single target Noble Phantasm with an interlude and her high NP generation rate. |
Sabnock
Sabnock has the potential to go out either right before or after Halphas. His drop list is quite decent, as both Seeds of Yggdrasil and Dragon Fang are commonly used materials, and Cursed Beast Gallstones are quite tedious to farm while desirable for anyone who rolled Babylon Servants.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Scathach | Good ol’ Gae Bolg Alternative is still extremely reliable as a boss killing tool thanks to its humongous damage output. Scathach still suffers from inconsistent NP generation and thus is highly recommended to be accompanied by an NP charging support like Zhuge Liang or Helena Blavatsky. Ideally, try to field Scathach in a set up that can destroy the Demon Pillar in one NP, but she can also crit pretty hard with Merlin support. |
Altria Pendragon (Lancer Alter) | As one of the best Buster Critical Lancers in the game at the moment, it is no surprise that the Storm King is a strong candidate to obliterate an Archer boss. Her NP interlude and high attack compensates a bit for her AoE NP, but she’ll have to rely on critical hits to clear quickly. |
Brynhild | Brynhild has the advantage of having a reliable Star Gathering skill compared to her other Lancer competitor, on top of a solid single target Noble Phantasm. Her NP Generation rate and Star Generation rate are both quite good, ensuring she will deal strong damage throughout the fight. |
Enkidu | Enkidu has a surprisingly powerful Noble Phantasm for boss killing, thanks to his Defense Down debuff applying before damage calculation and his Transfiguration skill. |
Tamamo-no-Mae (Lancer) | Having strong Star Generation, NP Generation and a Buster Single Target Noble Phantasm, the foxy Lancer is no slouch when it comes to dishing out the pain. Similar to Brynhild and Altria Pendragon (Lancer) (Alter), she takes full advantage of Merlin support. |
Andromalius
Andromalius only appears after four Demon Pillars have been defeated. His drop list includes Void’s Dust, a material that is always in high demand even if we just got a lot from Babylonia, so he will most likely die quite fast after appearing. The Primordial Lanugos are also highly sought after for the Babylonia Servants. A Strong ST Berserker is still very competitive compared to the available Archers.
Recommendation
Servant | Description |
Chloe von Einzbern | Chloe is one of the strongest Welfare Servants, and certainly a top-tier boss killer. With a Starting NP CE like Golden Sumo or Holy Night Supper, she can easily dispatch Andromalius without much difficulty. |
Robin Hood | Players who enjoy obscene damage numbers will enjoy setting up the Legend of Sherwood Forest himself. Mozart, Zhuge Liang, and Tamamo no Mae are the best friends of this heavy nuker, providing him with enough damage boosts to obliterate Andromalius in one fell swoop. |
Altria Pendragon (Archer) | While Altria can’t deal as much damage in a single blow, she can still deal tremendous damage over time through continuous NP spam. |
Ishtar | It is easy to overlook Ishtar as she often fulfills the role of an AoE Farmer, but she possesses two of the best offensive buffs in the game in Manifestation of Beauty and Mana Burst (Gem). When utilized as the main Critical Damage Dealer of the team, Ishtar can dish out enormous pain if everything lines up for her. Despite her great ceiling, Ishtar is hard to properly manage due to her third skill, particularly so for newer players. Ishtar is unsuited for single turn setups, however, due to the turn delay on her Mana Burst. |
Emiya Gilgamesh | With the newfound power of his upgraded skill Hawkeye, Emiya is a monstrous Critical Damage Dealer in his own right. 100% Critical Damage boost alongside a 40% performance buff to every card type is nothing to scoff at. Gilgamesh does not have the critical damage of Emiya, but instead offers critical star absorption, powerful stats, and presumably a high bond level. |
