Bullying Barbatos DPS Choice - Herc or JAlter?

I need to decide whose skill mats to farm to make Barbatos farming more efficient. Who should I prioritise?

Bond 9 Lv 90 Herc 8/8/5 -->10/8/5 if I farm 14 proofs

Bond 7 Lv 70 JAlter 4/4/4 --> Lv 100 + 4/4/10 if I farm 2 Claws, 2 Fangs and 14 Pages (I need 10 for Merlin's ascension if I'm lucky). I need 99k for Bond 8, which I should with 2 MLB Lunchtimes.

MLB Holy night supper is my best CE. No KScopes or Sumo.
I have a few maxed 10/10/10 Wavers for support.

I'm leaning toward JAlter myself but I thought I'd get other opinions since I haven't been playing long.

Herc Consistently Pushing the Red Button here. Since bonus damage from Berserkers. Besides, I don't have a Waver or JAlter so i'll surely be borrowing a Waver for my Strat lol

Though if you have your own Waver and a steady supply of crit stars from a certain Maxed Mage from your friendly neighborhood whale, JAlter COULD deal some sky-high critical hits.
You'll need crit stars every turn for consistency

Just my thoughts on it. Hope it helps. Wait for other replies for more opinions

I have to borrow a Waver too. By support I meant friend support. If I go with Herc, I'll have to rely on Waver to get his NP up so the only way I'm using a Merlin is if RNGesus smiles on my roll.

14 Proofs will be probably drop a lot quicker than all the mats for JAlter.
