Some people have been holding their assets for Merlin for months; so I won't be surprised if you see Merlin maxxed within half an hour after banner drops.

Assuming we have enough quartz...
Will we be able to summon Merlin, level him up, and still have kill time on Barbatos? It irks me greatly that we get both things at the exact same time and that Barbatos' life expectancy is really short.

Well, if you have all the mats Merlin needs, there will be plenty of time. If you don't, well, that's sad.
