Like many people, I plan to pull Merlin. I have enough Exp cards and mats to level Merlin to 90-6-6-6. The question is, if I am able to pull Merlin, shall I raise Merlin immediately or shall I wait until new year for the success rate up? I have 2-3 other servants that I have been wanting to level. Thanks!
Merlin is incredibly powerful - both for the final singularity itself and later on
It'd be a shame not to abuse his buffs for farming the pillars - especially since it's possible to field all those hybrid CEs and Kscopes. That means Waver is less necessary than usual for fast farming.
You can always try out the first few raid quest without him before deciding on leveling for Solomon or waiting for new years. See if you can get by without his memes if you really want to conserve embers
This sounds a good idea. I will probably rely on a bond 8 jalter with waver and nightingale and use golf carp as ces. If that’s still not enough, I will replace nightingale with Merlin.

I'd say if solely for personal uses, merlin after 3rd ascension is sufficient enough. Skill levels is what's important.
That said, a high-level Merlin would show up higher on FL and would pull you an unreasonable amount of FP.
