Future Team Comp

Greetings dear Masters!

I'm playing since late July and i did not get really lucky for my draws.

My most prominent servants would be:

Artoria Pendragon (Archer) NP 1
Rama (Saber) NP 1
Ibaraki (Berserker) NP 1
Hans (Caster) NP 5
Joan Alter Santa (Lancer) NP5
----------
I'm torn between an Arts-Spam Team with Artoria/Hans(or Mozart) and Support Tamamo or an Buster Crit Team with Ibaraki. I read that Art-Spam teams get their full potential only with maxed Skills on the team-Members, but for the probably most effective Buster-Crit Team i'm short an waver/merlin.

Because of that i'm unsure about the team comp i should aim for. The bloody fields of camelot are awaiting me in the near future and i want to be prepared for the challange.

Thanks for your answers and good luck summoning your favorite servants!

I found that arts teams tended to fare a lot better in camelot due to the importance of sustain, consistency, and use of NPs. To be fair, if you do manage to get Merlin, he will definitely outshine and other team comps, but using an arts team with tamamo is not bad at all.

There will always be waver/Tamamono /and soon merlin in support. You can do just fine without your own. But waver and Tamamono will be in the caster GSSR if you really want your own, 33% for either...

You can have both. Always field hans and mash. For arts, get a friend tamamo. Hans should get a def ce or prisma cosmos. Use artoria or medea as dps. Have mozart to swap in. For buster, there is the crit route and non crit route. If using Rama, get friend waver with 2030 and Hans should get a passive stargen ce. If using ibaraki, have waver with prisma cosmos or similar and hans with a defensive ce. Have shakespeare to swap in.

I think your problem does not lie in whether which team you should follow, it is that you lack the strong class advantage servants. In camelot, you have to fight Ozy rider and Nitocris caster before getting to the Round Table knights, and it seems that you don't have a strong Assassin or Rider, or more simple, a Berserker. So the advice is, if affordable, roll the necessary servants now; and if not, raise the class advantage servants you've already had, whether you like them or not. Because with a strong enough class advantage servant, all you have to do is borrowing a Waver from friend and everything's done.

Buster Crit won't really work with Ibaraki thanks to the Berserker class having atrocious star absorption, which means that all the crit stars will end up going everywhere except Ibarakis command cards. Rama is a pretty good Buster crit saber, but you will certainly run into trouble against archers, so it's good to have a backup plan. Just roll for Merlin when he arrives and see what happens.

At the moment, i would say that an Arts team is probably your best bet, especially assuming you got Kuro from the Prisma Causeway event. Make sure you raise Mozart and then just mix and match your team depending on what you are facing (for example, against Lancers you should drop Kuro and Beach Seiba and just roll with Hans, Mozart and a support Void Shiki or Nero Bride). Generally Arts teams are way more flexible than Buster Crit ones, so they are a pretty safe choice. Also, if you do end up going with an Arts team, consider dropping some SQ on the current Babylon 1 banner for Caster Gil, he is the 2nd best Arts support in the game behind Tamamo at the moment, and he doesn't really get that many rateups.
