Is it possible for the same account to be linked to two devices (i.e. I take the transfer code on an Ipad and apply it on a phone and both devices will be linked to one account). And if so, would that imply I can make in-app purchases on my phone and they'd take effect on my ipad as well? Sorry for loaded question, for reasons I can't make micro-transactions on my ipad so I was hoping I could use my phone to purchase quartz for the account on my ipad. Thanks for any help! I'm not the brightest when it comes to this technical aspect of the game.
I don't believe you can. You can create a one-time transfer code and move that between devices but then the previous device becomes unusable with that account and it gets transferred onto the new device.
You account is not strictly linked to an apple ID or google play user in this way. It's just the code.
So would I be able to transfer to phone then back to Ipad? Because my phone is kind of... not optimal for running games so I just intend to use it as a proxy platform to make microtransactions.
You can transfer back and worth for sure. I used to do it with my computer and phone before I got a new one since my emulator ran it better. The main problem is it can be very time consuming based on your internet connection as you basically have to wipe the game every time you want to transfer onto a new device that already has save data. So basically you'll be re-downloading the whole game a lot, including re-doing the optional additional download of all the files to make the game run smoother. It's doable, but not ideal.
Yes you may transfer it back as long as you have that one-time use transfer code. Only problem with transferring it back is you need to re-download game files and everything. Which is a pain for me lol.
PS: Always re-issue a new transfer code every transfer just to be on the safe side
The above comment is correct. You can only have your account active on one device at a time. You can transfer it at any time using the code but then your account is unusable on the first device.
