Fumma is a slightly better star generator and provides a bit of team support. Cursed Arm is good at surviving and still deals decent single target NP damage. Neither one is really better than the other, just offers something different.
Same argument with Tawara and Kid Gil. Both are decent AoE archers but don't offer anything particularly unique or helpful. Tawara has protection from arrows, so he he can stay on the field for a good amount of time but his other skills are a bit lackluster. Kid Gil is probably a bit more supportive, being able to stun servants, A+ charisma, and a noble phantasm that hits for a LOT of debuffs.
A lot of the low rarity servants (except Gilles) are surprisingly useful when used correctly. I'd suggest youtubing some bronze servant strategies that people have done in the past. Asterios, Spartacus, Shakespeare, and Kojiro have a surprisingly high amount of utility, even for the really hard stuff like Nerofest.
