Levelling up servants and CEs

Does it make a difference in terms of QP cost to NP5 first or level up and/or ascend servants?

Similar question for CEs. Should I MLB first or level up?

1. No it depends on rarity
2. Watch a tutorial on CE bombs on youtube, will save you a shit ton of QP in the long run

1. so when you NP5 them it doesn't matter what level they're at. Same QP cost?

2. I was thinking if should add the CE bombs first or the limit break cards. Because I would think you'd need a lot more CE bombs than just 16 along the 4 limit breakers. I wouldn't think it would make any difference but this QP economy is batshit!

Rarity and what level the card/ce is. A 1* lvl1 is super qp cheap, and 5* lvl1 is pretty cheap. A 5* lvl 90 is insanely qp expensive. Also note that 1* exp cards cost the same as 4* exp cards, which is why you should only level up servants with 4* exp and burn the rest since you don't gain enough exp to be worth the qp expenditure.

CE bombs saves millions of qp by feeding all of the exp into lvl1 bronze cards over and over until the accumulated qp is enough for lvl 50 or so. Then you feed that to a lvl1 5* CE you are ready to mlb and instantly make it lvl 50 for very little qp.

I understood the rarity aspect and the fact teh NP doesn't come into this calculation.

You are suggesting I bomb the Baghdad out a CE before making it MLB? Is that better than doing MLB and then dropping the bombs?

Less qp is used if you bomb at same time as mlb, but you can definitely still bomb after mlb (esp if you already have a favorite mlb because you never paid attention to how much qp it took to just level a high level ce until you were suddenly out of what used to be an infinite supply of qp...)
