Which Rider would be more useful? Marie Antoinette or Martha?
Depends on what you need. Marie is essentially a tank and Martha is a healer. I would say both of them offer the same level of usefulness to a team. Neither of them contribute much offensively though.
Edit: Apparently Martha's second rank-up gives her an on-demand buff removal tool. I'm gonna say that Martha is better rider because that's a handy skill to have for the upcoming Salomon chapter.
It really depends, Marie has a decent charm, Martha has a buff removal and defence down. Both can clear party debuffs, Marie does it with her NP and Martha does it with a skill. Martha also has enemy party defence down on her NP while Marie has a 3-hit invincibility Overall Martha has better team utility and Marie has much more tankiness. Go for the one you need more.
Imo Martha has more to offer for hard content. Marie's 3-hit invincibility would be amazing on anyone except her. It keeps her alive but unfortunately she can't contribute very much to any fight. If you run a stall comp, Marie would work well, otherwise imo you'd be better off with Martha.
Both is strong and like wise mans say, it depends on your need.
Marie is great for stalling, for example Marie, Marie, Marie ( Caster and Rider ). Yo ! Whassup my Homies 😎🍺🕶️ , good for memes.
She's also great at another stall team.
As i said before, both is strong Martha also good for harder content just like Marie but with more offensive kit.
She can make your carry hit harder and also clear debuff and clearing annoying buff from the enemies.
She's a meme as well, for example Martha, Martha, Martha ( Ruler and Rider ).

She is a staller as well but with a '' Spiked Shield '' while Marie has a '' Phalanx Shield ''.

Rank up quests part 8 gives an np boost to both of them. Martha gets a 20% buster boost (sorely needed) and Marie gets a crit strength boost.
I might actually use Martha after the rank up. I stopped when I saw how my 3*s with quick np's were outperforming her buster np in terms of damage.
Marie's np isn't anything special damage wise, but I enjoy how hard she is to kill, like cu that way.
First of all, both wont be ideal choice for rider major DPS to kill enemy. Free Kintoki and Ozy as ST, Drake as AOE-critical and Santa Alter as AOE NP all worked great than these two riders. Usi can even be better for job like that
Marie is probably one most durable servants, and her playstyle is also close to Cu. Facing male caster make her even better. It is good to pair her with other durable servant to consist tanky stall team, such as her Caster form, Cus, Hassan CA, Jeanne, etc. Her NP gain is also not ideal, as Quick -oriented servant her normal card for star generation also mediocre. Her NP damage and effect is good (star generation and team-wide buff), but low np gain restricted her potential NP spam. THa is why even rely on emery's attack for np charge.
On the other hand, Martha is more versatile due to her skill-based ability for team wide deduff-cleaning and enemy buff removing. Herself is also quite solid against enemy debuff so her is kind stronk in boss fight when enemy frequently release debuff to your teams. This is somehow different from Medea Lily/Medea, since Medea and her lily version are also vulnerable against enemy debuffs (charm, stun, skill-sealed, np sealed....), not like Martha or Jeanne.
Although MArtha's star weight is too high as support, but
(1) you can use servant with star abortion skill as critical DPS, such as Lancelot and Raikou, and equipped MArtha with 2030; or equip major DPS with star abortion CE
(2) her AAAQB deck is quite decent as support to make Art chain. For pure support except star generator, it is always receommende to avoid using Buster/Quick cards.
(3) her np gain is also good, not top-class but decent enough. The accumulated deference-down effect is good debuff to enemy for a lethal attack from your major DPS.
Overall, if you dont have too many riders, even no free Kintoki and Santa Alter, then Marie and Martha are same for you.
If you already have a lot riders, then Martha> Marie. Leveling Martha is always a good choice, mainly focusing on level her 2-3 skills.
If you want to try stall team, then Marie. Similar play style as Cu
