Why is Elizabeth so popular with FGO player?

I get it when people are hyped about the strongest servants in the game who most often tend to be waifus like Mushashi, Okita, Tamamo etc etc but I dont get the hype surrounding Elizabeth, none of her incarnations can be termed above average in terms of gameplay except for Carmilla yet the whole Community seems to go crazy over her.

Some people like her from Fate CCC/Extra, and also her personality can be charming and grow on you. I just want her to do her best, and become the dragon idol she always aims for.

Maybe popularity from fate extra/CCC? There are a few servants who aren't all that great in the game but are still super popular. OG Altria and OG Nero come to mind. That popularity usually comes from their appearances in other media.

True, I do love me some OG Nero, and I don't mind that she isn't the best. Once Nero Fest popped up I blew so many SQ just to get a copy of her. I loved her in Fate Extella, so I had to get her on my team.

I'm specifically excited for brave Liz as it's the only St buster saber at np5 for me with the most damage. Bedivere barely keeps up with her and only really exceed her after his np interlude which comes at least a year later.

Further she has double damage during this event.

For the other Elis, no comment on lancer. Don't have her. Caster Eli is decent at generating stars as her innocent has good numbers.

I had always been wondering the same thing. I got her as my tutorial servant and I hated her from the start because of her super annoying voice. Even today I still mute my phone whenever I use her NP.

Also her character design seems somewhat childish and it has little to do with her incarnation of Fate Extra CCC.
