Farming for bats

I've been grinding the 40AP quest to get 60 pumpkins to get the three Maid CEs. Once I get those three it'll be much easier grinding for bats. Maybe try that?

There shouldn't be much need to farm bats. According to the guide, after all the surprise/party quests you should have almost enough to clear the shop.
