Mash brings the defense for herc so it's down to healing vs crit stars for herc (he has his bond CE btw)...guess it matters between the 2 on whichever is more arts team dependent. Thanks for any opinions. Torn between the 2 as a big fate zero fan.
Well in general I'd think Iri would be more useful for him since Herc won't really be absorbing very many stars. Most of Kiritsugu's stars would likely go to Mash and himself, which you might not want. On the other hand, Iri can heal Herc and give him more guts to help him last longer even after his 3 bond guts are down.
If you absolutely have to choose between Emiya and Iri, Iri is better because her guts and healing help solve for Herc’s long-term survivability problem. But! (and stop me if you already know this) bond CE Herc is much better as the last man on the team, not a frontline damage dealer, because of how the guts mechanic works.
