I have Chloe but I like Gil but only had the luck to get kogil so is he worth the upgrading.Is threre any way to increase his durability.
In short yes all 3* archers are good as for durability aside from the normal sticking him with Mash/ Waver not a whole lot you can do, worth noting his NP does reduce enemy NP damage 50% for 1 turn so that plus Waver + any of the many 20% attack downs will basically stop all damage though.
Obvious other answer would be use grails but whether you want to go that far or not is up to you.
As said, all 3*s Archers are decent.
His AOE NP is extremely weak, sadly, but it imposes 1 turn huge crippling debuffs on all the enemies.
He also has the same Charisma A+ of the other Gils, for record, the second highest charisma in the low stars is David, B (and is his 3rd skill, not the first). And His third skill, Golden Rule A (also from the OG Gil) allow him to charge his NP bar very easily (aside from good hitcount on 2 Arts cards).
Would not grail, but max HP Fous, and have a Hans with Divine Banquet/Formalcraft to spam the heal/def up of his NP more frequently, ofc Waver and Mash are alllways a good option.
You can also put Iron Willed Training or Azoth Blade MLB on him, to make him more tanky...
