10 pull or single

I tried 10-pulling for Summer Astoria but got a code base(?) ce and lots of crappy 3 stars. Is it more worth it to 10 pull or to single?

Ah the age old FGO debate was asked. How amusing specially on this section's down time.
According to those who wield math. It matters not and is the same no matter what you do.
But anyway if you dont have luck with 10 pulls go with singles and if you're not lucky with singles then 10 pulls.
That's my opinion.

I watched this video some time ago and at the end of it he basically said that the only reason to do it is that you could potentially save more quartz because you could a servant on the first roll and don't have to do the other 9.

Only 2 things 10-roll gives you are guarantees that you won't get 10 CEs or 10 3*s in them, so it doesn't help much unless you have E Luck

1) Multi gives a higher chance of a 4* CE and a slightly higher chance of a 3* servant.
2) Assuming the multi roll 4*+ bonus indeed gives servants as it says, multi gives a higher chance at a 4*+ servant. However, it is only a very slight and negligible difference.
3) Hence, if the only aim is to pull a 5* (or 4*) servant, singles could be more quartz-efficient because there is more control over when to stop rolling. However, CE's are also important, so it is up to you whether the potential handful of quartz saved is more worthwhile.
