Save Quartz for who?
Just wanna ask who should i roll for, Merlin or J'Alter, during their rate ups.Which servant is more useful? (currently have 180 sq and 14 summon tickets, intend to use them all on either one of the banners this september or december)

Yea, unless your lucky and got your target servant via 90 rolls. You can always try out Kitasean ritual to see if it would increase your luck.

I'm gonna say this first: always roll for who like rather than sticking to the meta. Trust me on this one. *shiver*
Jalter and Memelin are key components in the much-praised Buster-Crit team, so they both are useful there. But honestly, with the SQ you have, it's unlikely you can save for both unless you got Jalter within 2 10-rolls, and with that you'll just have barely enough to even dream of Memelin appearing (unless you have Luck EX).
So my suggestion is this: roll for Jalter. Unless you want to throw in a double Merlin composition, Merlins will clog up your Caster friend support page so much that it won't be impossibe to run a Jalter-Merlin combo.
*of course Jalter-Merlin-Merlin is better ahem*

I guess i will save up for j'alter then, thks ^ ^. Dk whether i can get her though, i have terrible luck with 5 star servants. Currently, i only have 4 sr servants and no SSR (*cries*) after playing for about 2 months

Well I'm not worried cause I have Luck rank EXX: have played actively for about 6 months, already have 8 5 stars and 24 4 stars. 7 5 stars and 17 4 stars if you don't count double ups
