I have grailed Robin to Level 80 but I'm wondering if I should grail David too... Personally I don't want to grail more than one servant per class, but I can make an exception with the Archer class.
I like Robin a lot, but recently I've started to appreciate David more, too. I have a choice between grailing Robin to 90 and grailing David to 80... I'm considering Euryale, too.
Which should I pick? Gameplay wise.
If you like them a lot, there's no harm in spreading out your grails. I know it's considered more impressive to lvl100 one unit but that's just a massive undertaking and not everyone's cup of tea. Us NA folks are going to get a lot more grails too, so I would advise going for grailing David to 80. He's a great team support and can hold his own really well.
Grail Robin first as he is first and foremost the Premier 5 star Arts Archer masquerading as a 3 star. You want him dealing more damage compared to david who is there more for his utility rather damage. David will never outdamage Robin in any scenario anyway but it is your preference who you enjoy more. Do note robin gets a nifty animation update(though far off) in the future
Having grailled David myself I'm very happy with it his defensive skills let's him gain a lot of survival from even a small amount of stat gains and free NP5 + raising his already respectable (2nd highest among 3*s) doesn't hurt either. Robin on the other hand I'm not a huge fan of investing Grails in from a gameplay perspective just because he already hits so hard that he doesn't really need it and since he has his interlude now his survival isn't such an issue. Thus I'd recommend David he's just a much more flexible unit overall where as Robin requires the team to be built around him when used.
