Unsure which CE to go for on my herc. Don't have bond 10 yet. Thinking between Verdant Sound, Partake with King, Volumen and Golden Sumo.
Use Volumen for greater survivability.
Starting 50% bar of PWK and MLB GS are good, but a Waver on your team (support or not) can kind of do that as well.
Herc already hits hard as hell with buster brave chain+Valor activated, increase your buster cards CE only if you desperately needs to one-shot an really annoying boss (like Demon Pillars, for example).
use the golden sumo for boss fight and you get 50% NP + 15% damage
and use a waver as support to get 100% NP + 45%damage up in one turn
plus the 31% of herc maxed first skill + mystic code attack up and you create a buster monster
Like you I'm still working on my bond CE. My Herc is grailed to 90 and maxed fou'd. I exclusively run Volumen on him. I brought the wrong team to Tristan's fight. Luckily I have Herc anchor all of my teams. He soloed 2 of the enforcement knights and Tristan.
