Overview
- A faceoff against the leader of the Fang Clan, who is a Caster with four HP bars (183k, 187k, 191k, 194k HP).
- With every break, the boss's NP bar gets 1 tick shorter! On his final HP bar, he will only have 2 ticks!
- Note the boss's NP hits a single target, which means taunt skills are highly effective for protecting the damage dealer on the boss's NP turns.
- Use Percival's NP ASAP to get rid of the boss's passives, and also disable his ability to regenerate his first break bar. Afterwards, it is safe if Percival falls or leaves the front line, since he will be permanently NP Sealed.
- On first break, the boss gains 50% Crit Rate and 100% Crit Damage for 5 turns. These buffs are removable.
- On second break, the boss gains Damage Plus 1000 and Ignore Invincible for 5 turns. These are also removable.
- On third break, the boss gains 3-time Guts, reviving with 10k HP. This Guts buff is also removable!
Team Recommendations
- Damage Dealers with Buff Removal are excellent choices, particularly for the boss's final HP bar, since the Guts buff can be removed. Meltryllis makes for an excellent choice since she also has Class advantage.
- Otherwise, single target Rider / other Class Advantage Damage Dealers are all great options. The boss has few damage mitigation effects if Percival's NP is used right away.
- Taunt Support is effective for this encounter, given all of the boss's attack and NP hit a single target. It is worth keeping a taunt skill off cooldown to use on the boss's NP turns.
- NP Gauge and Damage Support are helpful as always, with the NPC Support Altria Caster being an excellent option since she also provides 30% free NP charge every 3 turns. In this battle, Masters can also bring their own Altria Caster as well.
- It is also possible to clear this encounter with only Euryale and NPC Percival + NPC Altria Caster (see video links below) due to the boss's Male trait making him vulnerable to her NP's bonus effects.
