Overview
- A battle against a Saber and the Berserker giant from prior battles at the same time, this battle can be difficult due to the Berserker's highly damaging AoE normal attacks, along with Dioscuri's ability to slowly become more dangerous as the battle goes on via their buff-on-attack effects, and their Invincible-Ignore/DEF-Ignoring NP.
- Miyamoto Musashi must be selected as the NPC Support Servant for this encounter! Depending on the lineup, it may be better to place them in the backline.
- Talos, the Berserker has attack priority, meaning it will move twice per turn, and Dioscuri moves once while both are alive. This generally can make short work of your party if defensive measures are not in place.
- Talos can gain Sure Hit, so try to use Invincible skills instead of Evade skills where possible, at least so long as Talos is still alive.
- Talos has an unremovable 50k HP Guts that will proc once his second HP bar is depleted.
- Dioscuri's NP ignores Invincible and DEF, making it very difficult to survive (aside from stacking many NP Damage Down / ATK Down debuffs, or using Guts). Note however that the NP is single target.
- Dioscuri's Break gives them the ability to gain 1 NP Gauge when Quick attacking, along with Crit Rate buffs when Arts attacking. Be careful about their NP Gauge, especially when they are alone, since they can launch their NP more quickly than expected.
- Talos's Break gives them the ability to inflict Burn, whether when normal attacking or when receiving attacks. The burn damage is relatively minor, although it can stack quickly if he is not eliminated ASAP.
Team Recommendations
- In most cases, prioritize defeating Talos first, although taking both of them down quickly would be ideal. Talos deals AoE damage with his normal attacks, and with his Berserker Class offense, he can make short work of the party if he isn't dealt with quickly. The exception would be if trying to stall and survive for a prolonged period of time using a Servant with Evade/Invincibility skills, in which killing Dioscuri first may be more effective.
- Archer Damage Dealers are the most favored for this encounter, since they have Class Advantage against both Dioscuri and Talos. Either AoE or ST damage dealers are good to have around.
- Sure Hit is a useful ability to have on the damage dealer, since Dioscuri can use an Evade skill. Note that the NPC Miyamoto Musashi will also gain an unremovable Sure Hit effect, although she unfortunately does not have Class advantage against Dioscuri.
- Damage / NP Gauge Support is useful as always, with Merlin, Skadi, Waver, and Tamamo all being great choices for helping the damage dealer eliminate the enemies quickly.
- Taunt Support can be helpful to redirect damage from Dioscuri's highly damaging and Invincible/DEF-ignoring NP.
