Overview
- This battle has two mandatory NPC Support Servants that must be in the party (Altria Caster and Gareth), and Masters are not allowed to bring a second Altria Caster.
- This encounter has two normal enemy waves, with a boss in the third wave. The third wave's Berserker boss has 3 HP bars (90k, 113k, and 136k HP), and has an AoE NP to watch out for.
- Triggering the Berserker's Guts once ends the battle, although this requires depleting all 3 HP bars from the boss.
- For the first four turns, the Master's party will have 100% NP Gauge drained every turn, and the boss gains a 50k Damage Cut (stacking) every turn, essentially making the first 5 turns a stall game. The boss helpfully will drain their own NP Gauge each turn so that they can't NP during this initial period.
- On Turn 5, the boss loses all Damage Cut stacks and gains MAX NP Gauge. Be ready for their AoE NP at this time! They will use it immediately if able to move. The NP will stun the boss for a turn after.
- The boss's break effects are relatively minor effects:
- First Break: Inflicts Poison (1k dmg, 3 turns) on the party.
- Second Break: Increases Curse Damage by 50% and decreases ATK by 30% for 3 turns on the party.
Team Recommendations
- Damage dealer choice is flexible due to the boss being Berserker Class, although Foreigners can be a good choice. Consider placing the damage dealer in the back line, to avoid losing the damage dealer before the boss becomes easily vulnerable.
- Evade/Invincibility, Guts, and Taunt Support are all very helpful for waiting out the first five turns of the boss's Damage Cut effects. Mash, Georgios, as well as the Altria Caster NPC Support are all excellent for this role.
- AoE Evade/Invincibility is helpful for surviving the boss's 5th turn AoE NP.
- Damage / NP Gauge Support is helpful as well, for recharging the party after the first 5 turns pass. Avoid using NP charge skills if possible during the first 5 turns if unable to fill a Servant's NP Gauge fully, however, since 100% NP Gauge is drained every turn.
- NPC Altria Caster is mandatory, and is helpful for this role, although note the battle also does not allow a second Altria Caster to be used.
