Overview
- Caenis is the sole opponent in this encounter, albeit with the full support of Kirschtaria who will grant Caenis multiple extra break bars. Caenis must have their HP bar broken 4 times before this battle ends. This battle can be difficult if Masters come in unprepared and are not expecting Caenis to last so long.
- NPC Support Sherlock Holmes must be selected for this encounter.
- Mash (Ortinax) must be placed in the front line for this encounter.
- Caenis gains an extra HP Bar at battle start via Kirschtaria's command spell.
- Caenis also has a passive 50% resistance to Stun/NP Seal/Skill Seal, along with the ability to apply HP Recovery debuffs when attacking.
- 1st Break: Begins to gain minor ATK buffs when normal attacking, which can stack up very quickly.
- 2nd Break: Regains their blue break bar immediately.
- 3rd Break: Gains 30% chance of Invincible (5 turns).
- 4th Break: Battle ends.
Team Recommendations
- ST Saber Damage Dealers are ideal for this encounter, due to Class Advantage against the boss.
- Ignore Invincible effects on the damage dealer can help with Caenis's 3rd break bar effect. The mandatory Sherlock Holmes support will also be able to provide the Ignore Invincible effect on his NP (although he'll need to survive to the 3rd break bar).
- Evade / Invincible Support helps a great deal in surviving Caenis's AoE NP, especially given her innate resistance to Stun. It is very likely Caenis will pull off her NP at least once given how many break bars they have.
- Taunt Support is helpful since Caenis's normal attacks will progressively begin to hurt more and more as the ATK buff stacks begin to pile up. The mandatory frontline Mash can helpfully provide two turns of Taunt if needed, and additional Taunt Servants can be added if desired.
- Buff Removal is handy to help strip off the multiple ATK buffs Caenis can continually stack, although it is not necessary per se and more of a convenience.
- Damage / NP Gauge Support as usual is excellent for helping the damage dealer chew throw Caenis's multiple HP bars more quickly. The usual suspects of Merlin, Skadi, Tamamo, or Waver are all excellent options depending on the damage dealer's card color of choice.
